Crystallisation of Thoughts is an LED installation that visually imagines how ideas are generated and then combined into congruent thoughts, in the form of interconnected waves of small crystals. Akin to how rivers bring in a stream of new ideas and possibilities, viewers will reconceptualise their own thought-making in the way the artists depict them - as a push and pull of continual inspiration and refinement. The real genius of Crystallisation of Thoughts, however, is the way it models the exchange of idea. When they use D-Pads to play the classic game of "Pong" through the installation, visitors simulate the way people bounce ideas off one another, ultimately creating wonderful, cogent tough through the process of group iteration.
Living Spirits (Thailand)
Living Spirits is a collective that listens, asks questions, creates conversations, and makes connections with people through art. They believe that everything in the world has two sides running in parallel; their objective is to tell stories from the other side that can only be seen with the heart.
Their artwork makes use of technology to facilitate meaningful audience interaction - this audience participation is then ultimately used to strengthen the messages that their pieces carry. Through such methods, Living Spirits speaks to audiences through new and dynamic perspectives, a propulsive mix of people, technology and art which often makes use of social issues as inspiration.
